When a guest navigates to a page with the microblogs portlet deployed, the console will show a PrincipalException error and the portlet will be unavailable.
- Start Liferay.
- Hot deploy the microblogs plugin.
- Add a new page.
- Add the microblogs portlet to the new page.
- Enter content to update your status.
- Log out of the portal.
- As the guest user, navigate to the page with the microblogs portlet.
When the page loads, the console will show exceptions and the microblogs portlet displays a message that says "Microblogs is temporarily unavailable." If the microblogs portlet is not intended for guest users to be able to view, I would have expected a message that says something like "Please sign in to use microblogs portlet" or something similar.
