      Description

1.I have created a number of new document types and one associated Meta Data Set ( Called ubu Contract Gemeral Meta Data) . When I initially create the document against the document type with the associated meta data set - I see the metadata fields appear and I can enter the value.

      2. When I publish and go into the document to display, The meta-data does not appear under the "ubu General Meta Data" - SCREEN 1

3.If I then Edit and publish a new version the meta-data appears but has no values! If I keep repeating step three the meta-data appears every alternative version. SCREEN 2

Being part of community verifier program, I tried reproducing this issue against Liferay 6.2.0 CE M4 tomcat bundle/MySql 5.5.17.

And can reproduce it with the following steps:

        • Install a fresh lr bundle of above mentioned version
        • Create a metadata set via Control panel>documents and media>Manage>MetaData Sets
        • Added one date field to this metadata set.
        • Create a document type via Control panel>documents and media>Manage>Document Type
        • Add a date field in this document type, also associated it with previously created metadata set
        • Add a document via above created document type, selected different dates in both date appears (one because of document type and other because of metadata set)
        • When view this document, metadata panel and document type panels are blank on right side, and information is only available in the panel " Automatically Extracted Metadata"
        • On editing the added document, the date fields are found set to default value (so the current date) instead of the defined values during addition of document
