    Description

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Deploy the OpenSocial portlet
      2. Add the portlet
      3. Configure the portlet with this url: http://opensocial-resources.googlecode.com/svn/samples/tutorial/tags/api-0.8/helloworld.xml
      4. Shut down Liferay
        • The following memory leak errors will display
SEVERE: The web application [/opensocial-portlet] appears to have started a thread named [com.google.common.base.internal.Finalizer] but has failed to stop it. This is very likely to create a memory leak.
      Jul 30, 2012 6:02:33 PM org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader checkThreadLocalMapForLeaks
SEVERE: The web application [/opensocial-portlet] created a ThreadLocal with key of type [com.google.inject.InjectorImpl$1] (value [[email protected]]) and a value of type [java.lang.Object[]] (value [[Ljava.lang.Object;@417eb084]) but failed to remove it when the web application was stopped. Threads are going to be renewed over time to try and avoid a probable memory leak.

SEVERE: The web application [/opensocial-portlet] created a ThreadLocal with key of type [org.apache.shindig.common.xml.XmlUtil$2] (value [[email protected]]) and a value of type [com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.DocumentBuilderImpl] (value [[email protected]884c]) but failed to remove it when the web application was stopped. Threads are going to be renewed over time to try and avoid a probable memory leak.
