      Description

Current implementation of "Edit Online" assumes the user will create a new version when they close MS Office. For instance, "Edit Online" a word document. The document library will automatically checkout the document (*.doc and *.docx) and then MS Word will open the file. When the user closes word, their file will be automatically checked in and a new version created for the document.

Users should be given a choice to manually checkin the file. Thus, the DL does not automatically checkin the file when MS Word exits.

FAILED Manual Testing using the following steps:

          1. After setting up Windows 7 VM + MS Office 2010:
          2. Open Liferay portal with IE8
          3. Add Documents and Media portlet
          4. Add document (either .doc or .docx)
          5. On upper-right corner of document, click on grey triangle dropdown > Open in MS Office
          6. When prompted, login to Word 2010 with test/test login credentials
          7. (Optionally, user can navigate back to the liferay page and refresh, and see that the file has no pad lock next to it, indicating it was not checked out)
          8. Change something in the document, save and close it
          9. Refresh liferay page, click into document, find version history.

User expects to have the choice to manually Checkin the file, but the modified version, 'version 1.1' already displays in the version history with the option to 'Checkout' still displaying at the top (indicating either that the file has since gone through the checking out and in, or that the MS Word modifications bypassed the Checkout process altogether).

          Failed on:
          Tomcat 7.0.34 + MySQL 5. Portal 6.2.x GIT ID: a4ca7ea1f00a14b3b546a6256ee5c1f2056e05fc.
