Fix Priority:4
I want to create a test user and assign him the ability to manage Web Content specific permissions for other site members, but am unable to. I also do not want to give this test user full site administrator access, but simply extra abilities within the context of Web Content.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create a Regular Role (Test Role)
- Add the following permissions to the role: (see image.png)
- [Control Panel: Site] Web Content > Web Content > Access in Control Panel
- [Control Panel: Site] Web Content > Web Content > View
- [Site Content] Web Content > Web Content Management > Permissions
- Create a user (test1)
- Assign test1 to liferay.com (site)
- Assign test1 to Test Role (role)
- Sign out and sign in as test1@liferay.com
- Navigate to Web Content in the Control Panel
- Click the Permissions button
- test1 can only manage permissions for only Guests
The behavior in 6.1.X EE and 6.2.X differs slightly. The test steps outlined below should be reproducible when run in 6.1.X EE, but in 6.2.X the Control Panel's Web Content portlet is blocked because portal believes the user does not have the correct permissions to view the portlet.
