Affects Version/s: 6.1.20 EE GA2, 6.1.30 EE GA3, 6.2.0 CE M6
Component/s: Web Content > Web Content Administration
Environment:Tomcat 7 + Oracle 11g. Portal EE 6.1.x GIT ID: 8ba688a133bff289b7529c7def05126d1d888f25.

1 - Start Liferay, Go to Control Panel
2 - Make sure you are in scope Liferay
3 - Choose Documents and Media
4 - Add a folder named testFolder
5 - Upload an image to testFolder
6 - Go to Global scope
7 - In Documents and Media, upload an image
8 - Go back to Liferay Scope
9 - Create a Structure S1 with a Documents and Media field F1
10 - Create a corresponding template T1 based on S1
11 - Create a page P1 and add a Web Content Display
12 - Go to P1
13 - Select the structure S1 you have created in step #9
14 - Confirm Selecting a new structure will change the available input fields and available templates? Do you want to proceed? with OK
15 - Click on the Select next to the docmedia field F1
16 - Click on the folder testFolder, but don't select the image
17 - You want the image from Global scope, so change the scope to Global and click Search.
Result: You're still in the folder testFolder on Liferay Scope. Going up one level will throw you back to Liferay scope.
Expexted: You're searching in the Global scope, thus the previous folder you were in should have been forgotten.
Notes for QA
- On the most recet trunk (at the time of writing 61b66f92e09e66d4417384115ce1f18b01913bda), it's not testable. Because of the upgrade to Alloy 2, a lot of features are inoperable.
- On branch 6.1.x EE it's easyly reproducible.
