JAAS with LDAP integration doesn't work when password encryption is set other than NONE

    Details

      Description

      Steps to reproduce:

      Requirements:

Working LDAP server with e.g: SHA-256 password encryption

      1. Set password encryption to SHA-256 in portal-ext.properties
      2. Start a clean portal bundle
      3. Setup LDAP authentication and check LDAP authenticaion enabled checkbox. (Note that required checkbox is not checked)
      4. Shutdown the portal
      5. Set JAAS related settings in portal-ext.properties
      6. Setup JAAS authenticaion properly (this article can be helpful: https://www.liferay.com/community/wiki/-/wiki/Main/Configuring+JAAS+with+OpenLDAP but please note, it uses NO password encryption, so skip that setting)
      7. Create a user in LDAP (fill in all the mandatory fields like: mail, cn, sn, title, userPassword (with SHA-256 hashed password), etc.)
      8. Start portal
      9. Try to login with the new user

      Expected results
User log's in and the user is imported from LDAP

      Actual results
JAAS not configured properly message is shown
