      Description

      • Both machines have the following in the portal-ext.properties
        session.store.password=true
        company.security.auth.type=screenName
      • User has two instances running on separate machines, a local machine (staged environment) and a remote machine (live environment)
      • User is logged in as test on both machines (Use the Screen Name and not the email)
      • User is in the liferay.com site on both machines
      • Local machine has
        tunnel.servlet.hosts.allowed=127.0.0.1,[IP Address of the remote machine]
        axis.servlet.hosts.allowed=127.0.0.1,[IP Address of the remote machine]
        tunnel.servlet.hosts.allowed=127.0.0.1,[IP Address of the remote machine]
        tunneling.servlet.shared.secret=[some secret password]
        auth.verifier.TunnelingServletAuthVerifier.hosts.allowed=

      • VM of Alfresco

      Steps to reproduce: (Follow Cert)

      1. Create a User (Screen Name: admin, Email Address: admin@liferay.com, First Name: admin, Password: test1)
      2. Click Roles in right navigation > Select > Administrator
      3. Sign Out and Sign in as (Screen Name: admin, Password: test1, Remember Me: flag)
      4. Change password to match the same credentials as those on the Alfresco VM (e.g. admin/admin, or admin/password, etc.)
      5. Add a blank Site
      6. Add a page to the blank site
      7. Go to Site and add a Documents and Media portlet
      8. Click Add > Repository (Name: Alfresco, Description: Alfresco, Repository Type: CMIS Repository (AtomPub), AtomPub URL: http://[IP Address]:8080/alfresco/service/api/cmis (IP Address is the IP Address of the Alfresco VM)

      Navigate to Remote Machine
      9. Add a blank site
      10. Copy the Site ID from the Remote Site details page

      Navigate to Local Machine
      11. Navigate to Control Panel > Select Documents Site from the Site Scope drop down > Site Settings > Staging
      12. Remote Live radio button: Select, Remote Host/IP: (IP Address of the Remote Machine), Port: 8080, Remote Site ID: [Copied from step 10]
      13. Click Save > Assert success message

      Go to the Documents Site and Publish to Remote Live.

      Expected result:
      Remote staging is setup successfully.

      Actual result:
      Remote staging causes an unexpected error and no console errors. Tried remote staging with no repository present and it worked fine.
