Import method into Liferay = Groups

      Description

I am importing users into Liferay using LDAP groups, but I need to be able to allow only specific groups into the portal. At the moment all groups are imported to the Liferay portal which enables all users and customers with valid LDAP accounts to log into the portal, which is incorrect as not all users or customers are authorised to use the portal.
This is a real issue as all users and customers belong to appropriate groups to access their various services.

Is there a way to restrict the importation of groups?

Please note I have deleted unwanted groups that were imported, but the groups appear again. Also setting ladap.import.group.search.filter.enabled=true does not help as the parameter only restricts the base DN
