Breadcrumb portlet - Can not hide current site

1. Add a Site with a page
2. Navigate to the page and add the Breadcrumb portlet
3. Open Configuration and uncheck Show Current Site
4. Click Save, close Configuration and refresh the page

Expected results:
Current Site in the Breadcrumb portlet preview in configuration and in the Breadcrumb portlet should be hidden.

Actual results:
Current Site in the Breadcrumb portlet is not hidden anywhere. The setting is non-functional, there is no known workaround.
