There are some cases in Liferay where the URL that points to an asset is not linked to a specific page or portlet. It's a generic URL that uses a finder (Find*Action.java) that is cheap to built and only when the user clicks the link we need to process where we want to redirect the user.

Consider the following scenario: Asset Publisher configured as Show in Context. When the user clicks in any URL of that asset publisher, the user expects to be redirected to the page where that content is published. However, we are not doing that calculation because it's very expensive to check which layout is displaying that content, so what we end up doing is search for any page that has a portlet that can render that content and we display the content there (although the content may be displayed in a completely different page)

Same happens when using the search portlet. The user expects to be redirected to the page where that content is displayed.

We need to find a way of making this calculation cheaper (performance wise) so we can make sure that when the user clicks any of this link, he is redirected to the page where the content is published.
