Comment field in Web Form portlet is too small on mobile devices

Steps to reproduce:

1. Deploy the web-form-portlet and add the Web Form portlet to a page
2. Navigate to the page on a mobile device

Expected results:
The comment box should be longer than two lines. Or should be re-sizable.

Actual results:
The comment box only fits two lines. See the comparison to the comment box for a blogs portlet. Another thought is that text boxes can be adjustable on mobile devices, but not if that's usually implemented.

iPad (3rd Gen) + iOS 7.0.4 + Safari
Samsung Galaxy Nexus + Android 4.2.2 + Android Browser
