The issue:

The group statistics portlet does not show any message board related data.

Reproduction steps:

1. Enable social activity for a site in the control panel
2. Navigate to that site, add a message board portlet and a thread
3. Add the group statistics portlet to a page in that site
4. Configure the group statistics portlet to show the "message board posts of this site's users" counter

The portlet shows the 'not enough data' message.
