lucene.commit.time.interval in portal-ext prevents liferay process from stopping when using shutdown command

      DESCRIPTION
      Adding lucene.commit.time.interval in portal-ext prevents liferay java process from stopping when using shutdown.sh or shutdown.bat command
      STEPS TO REPRODUCE
      1. Set lucene.commit.batch.size=100 & lucene.commit.time.interval=60000 in portal-ext
      2. Start server using startup.bat or startup.sh (tail -f /home/liferay/Master/tomcat-7.0.42/logs/catalina.out
      to view in console)
      3. Shut down server using shutdown.bat or shutdown.sh
      4. Check processes (used JPS in linux)
      EXPECTED RESULTS
      Java Bootstrap process has stopped
      ACTUAL RESULTS
      Java Bootstrap process is still active. If lucene.commit.time.interval=60000 is commented, then process stops when using shutdown
