Ajaxable portlets don't work when SPA is enabled

When clicking on the preferences on the currency converter, the portlet does not update.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Add "Currency Converter" portlet
2. Click on Portlet options gear icon
3. Click on "Preferences" in dropdown menu

Expected Results:

• Portlet should refresh with portlet preferences

Actual Results:

• Portlet does nothing until you manually refresh the browser. The portlet preferences are now available.
