Automatic redirection to Login page when simultaneous sessions are disabled

    Details

      Description

      Issue: When simultaneous sessions are disabled, the older of two sessions is ended immediately (through a logout action), but this is only known to the user upon redirection, which is when the user is redirected to logout page of the Portal.

      It would be preferable if users were given the option to automatically redirect to users to a chosen page immediately upon the creation of a newer session in a different browser. This would mirror the behavior of the property session.timeout.redirect.on.expire=true.

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. Set the below portal-ext.properties:

      live.users.enabled=true
      auth.simultaneous.logins=false

      2. Start Liferay
      3. In one browser, log into Liferay with test user (session 1)
      4. In a different browser, log into Liferay with same test user (session 2)

      Desired Behavior: Session 1 is ended, and the browser immediately redirects to the login page upon the creation of session 2

      Actual Behavior: Session 1 is ended, but the user is only redirected when the user in Session 1 attempts to navigate the Portal.
