Shopping portlet's small image size constraint is inconsistent

Description
Steps to reproduce
1 - Start the portal
2 - Add shopping portlet to page
3 - Click on "Add Item"
4 - Add values for "SKU" and "Name"
5 - Under "Images", click on "Use Small Image" and upload an image that is larger than 150k
6 - Hit Save
Checkpoint: Request failed to complete. If you scroll down to the same section, it'll say "Please enter a file with a valid file size no larger than 50KB."
7 - Now upload another image, this time the size should be larger than 50k but smaller than 150k (50k<X<150k)
8 - Hit Save
Result: Request completed successfully.
Expected result: Either the small image error message should say that the image should be smaller than 150k, or it should adhere to 50k limit.
