StagingIndexingBackgroundTaskExecutor reindex at Live side all published objects from staging. If this reindex is not executed, some problems can arise, for example the published objects are not displayed at Asset Publishers
After a StagingIndexingBackgroundTaskExecutor error some manual checks are necesary:
- A manual reindex must be executed from control panel.
- To avoid a full reindex, you can also try triggering again StagingIndexingBackgroundTaskExecutor executing same Staging to Live publish operation or invoke reindex from a custom java code.
- Sometimes the lock at lock_ table is not deleted. This will cause that all future staging reindex operations will fail and remain at "Queued" status. It is necessary to manually remove this lock.
