To reproduce:

1. Add a page
2. Add a Hello Soy portlet to that page
3. Add another page
4. Add a Hello World portlet to that page
5. Using a tool that can hit the server with many concurrent requests (like jMeter or Apache Benchmark), take measurements on how long it takes on average to render both types of portlets.

Expected result:

The time to render both types of portlets shouldn't vary by more than 20%

Actual result:

It varies by more than 20%
