Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a site
2. Add a page the site
3. Navigate to Site Settings
4. Click Site URL
5. Enter "/alpha" in the friendly URL field
6. Save

Expected result:
Friendly URL is successfully saved without error.

Actual result:
NetworkError: 404 Not Found.
