In Page Comments portlet, previous comment is not cleared and reappears when a new one is posted

Reproduction steps:
1) Start 6.2 vanilla and login as Admin
2) Place the Page Comments portlet onto the Welcome page
3) Place the Wiki portlet onto the same page
4) In the Wiki portlet, click on All Pages > Add Page
5) Add a comment, for example "Hello, this is my comment" in the Page Comments portlet and hit "Reply". The comment is posted and shows correctly
6) Now, click on "Add Comment" again

Expected: The text box to insert a comment to be empty
Actual result: "Hello, this is my comment" is already pre-loaded in the text box
