Links in RSS feeds not working for Message Boards portlet embedded in layout templates

Reproduction steps:
1) Start the bundle and login as OmniAdmin
2) Deploy the attached rssfeed-messageboard-layouttpl-1.0.1-SNAPSHOT.war
3) Create a new page and apply the layout template rssfeed-messageboard: the Message Boards portlet should appear embedded in the page
4) Post a new thread, assign a dummy title/body and publish
5) Click the back arrow to go to the Message Boards home page and click on the "RSS" icon on the right-handed side of the portlet
6) A new RSS page will open. Click on the hyperlink corresponding to the title of the message just published (URL will be, e.g.: http://localhost:8080/c/message_boards/find_message?p_l_id=&messageId=20462)

Expected result: The message to appear
Actual result: The portal will say on the UI: Not Found // The requested resource was not found. // http://localhost:8080/c/message_boards/find_message?p_l_id=&messageId=20462

7) Go back to the page where the Message Boards portlet is embedded
8) Open the configuration menu for such portlet, do no changes and save
9) Repeat steps 6-7: the issue will disappear
