    Details

    • Fix Priority:
      4
    • Databases:
      Sybase ASE 16

      Description

      Sybase 16.0 Setup:

      portal-ext.properties
      jdbc.default.liferay.pool.provider=tomcat
      jdbc.default.driverClassName=com.sybase.jdbc4.jdbc.SybDriver
      jdbc.default.url=jdbc:sybase:Tds:{IPAddressHere}:5000/lportal
      jdbc.default.username=sa
      jdbc.default.password=password

      Create database
      use master
      go

      create database lportal
      go

      alter database lportal
      on default=1400
      go

      alter database lportal
      with override
      go

      master..sp_dboption lportal, 'allow nulls by default', true
      go

      master..sp_dboption lportal, 'select into/bulkcopy/pllsort', true
      go

      sp_configure 'select for update', 1
      go

      sp_configure 'default sortorder id', 50, 'utf8'
      go

      sp_logiosize "8"
      go

      *Run create-sybase.sql*

      Expected Result: Portal starts without error.

      Actual Result: Portal fails to start since it's unable to login to db. Note that portal starts with the same setup except using hikaricp as the pool provider.
