As an admin I would like to configure Knowledge Base using the User interface

Details

    Description

Currently Knowledge base is using the old portlet.properties file to configure some behaviours. This mechanism is not very convenient now that the Knowledge Base portlet is an OSGi module because it requires to create a OSGi fragment to configure those properties.

We should take advantage of the new settings framework and move the Knowledge Base portlet.properties to this new API that automatically generates a User Interface allowing administrator to configure the desired behaviour.

This is the list of the moved properties, that used to be in the portlet.properties of knowledge base:

      • admin.email.from.address
      • admin.email.from.name*
      • admin.email.kb.article.added.body
      • admin.email.kb.article.added.enabled
      • admin.email.kb.article.added.subject*
      • admin.email.kb.article.suggestion.in.progress.body
      • admin.email.kb.article.suggestion.in.progress.enabled
      • admin.email.kb.article.suggestion.in.progress.subject*
      • admin.email.kb.article.suggestion.received.body
      • admin.email.kb.article.suggestion.received.enabled
      • admin.email.kb.article.suggestion.received.subject*
      • admin.email.kb.article.suggestion.resolved.body
      • admin.email.kb.article.suggestion.resolved.enabled
      • admin.email.kb.article.suggestion.resolved.subject*
      • admin.email.kb.article.updated.body
      • admin.email.kb.article.updated.enabled
      • admin.email.kb.article.updated.subject
      • admin.kb.article.increment.priority.enabled
      • admin.kb.article.sections
      • admin.kb.article.sections.default
      • knowledge.base.ratings.number.of.stars
      • knowledge.base.social.bookmarks.display.style
