Users can mention other users in Liferay portal in Comments, Blogs and Message Boards to get the other user's attention about some topic or asset.
In order to mention other user, we should write the "@" character followed by the first name, last name, screen name or even the email address of the user. However, there's a big limitation to this search: we can only search using one single word.
This limitation is very problematic in Portals/Sites with lots of users, because just searching by the first name or the last name won't be enough because there might be tons of users with that first name/last name.
