Steps to reproduce:

1. Start portal
2. Add blogs portlet to site page
3. Click add blogs entry
4. Upload a cover image
5. Leaving the content and title field blank, publish the blog entry

Expected result:
Only error messages appear.

Actual result:
A success message appears with two error messages.

Reproduced on:
Tomcat 8.0.32 + MySQL 5.6.
