Error message on Product Menu when toggling Notifications/Requests List

      Description

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Add a new user
      2. Login as new user
      3. Navigate to User > My Account > Notifications
      4. Close Product Menu
      5. Navigate to Requests List
      6. Open Product Menu

      Expected result: User can still navigate via Product Menu
      Actual result: Product menu displays an error message: "You do not have the roles required to access this portlet."

      Tested with different roles and was able to reproduce except with Test Test. Workaround is to refresh the page.

      Reproduced on:
      Tomcat 8.0.32 + MySQL 5.6
