0. Use Firefox browser.

1. Put a Language portlet e.g. to the Welcome page
2. Create another page and give it language specific URLs (/english and /german)
3. Open welcome page
5. Enter German URL of second page in browser .../web/guest/german
6. You are redirected to .../en/web/guest/english as your session and language cookie are English
7. Go back to the Welcome page
8. Switch language to German
9. Navigate now to second page with German URL

Result: The page is again opened in English
