Steps to reproduce

1. Go to Site Content -> Web Content -> (kebab) -> Structures
2. Add structure and give it a name (don't save it yet)
3. Add a field to the canvas
4. Go to Source mode
5. Delete field source in JSON format
6. Go to View mode

Expected behavior

The field is removed from the canvas

Current behavior

The field remains on the canvas
