Git Pull Request:
- Turn on local staging with default settings
- Add a DL folder
- Edit the folder's permissions, revoke View and give only Access permission for Guest, leave all the permissions for Owner, and revoke all permissions from any other roles
- Enter this folder and add an image as a basic document
- Edit the image's permissions, make sure that Guest has View permission on it
- Add a web content article and insert an image in it's content using the editor
- Browse and select the image you added in the folder previously
- Go to the Welcome page and display the web content article in a web content display portlet
- Click on Publish to Live and make sure to check Permissions in the publication settings, then publish
- Go to the live site and verify the image is visible in the WCD portlet
- Log out from the portal, empty your browser's cache and refresh the page
Result: The image in the WCD portlet will be broken. However, it should be visible for Guest because it has View permission on the image and Access permission on the image's folder
If you turn off staging after all this, the image will be visible properly for the Guest user
