The build-in asset publisher in Content Display Page template does not display asset

Steps to reproduce:

1. Add a page with Content Display Page template , uncheck Inherit Changes
2. Click Add > Content > Add new > Basic Web content
3. Add title and content then publish
4. Check the asset publisher in page

Actual result:
The added web content doesn't display in asset publisher.

Expected result:
The added web content displays in asset publisher.
