Note: This is reproducible on ee-6.2.x, ee-7.0.x, and master
Steps to reproduce (Case 1):
- Create a new blank site 'Site Name', add a public page to it.
- Enable the local staging of Site Name for public pages.
- Add a site page variation.
- Try to publish to live, selecting as Site Pages Variation Main Variation.
Expected Result:
Message in the popup shoould be Publish Main Variation to Live.
Actual result:
Message in the popup is Publish main-variation to Live.
Steps to reproduce (Case 2):
- Create a new blank site 'Site Name', add a public page to it.
- Enable the local staging of Site Name for public pages.
- Add a site page variation named "navigation" (no capital letters).
- Switch language to Spanish.
Expected Result:
In the Site Pages Variation drop down "navigation" shouldn't appear translated.
Actual result:
In the Site Pages Variation drop down "navigation" appears translated.
Steps to reproduce (Case 3):
- Create a new blank site 'Site Name', add a public page to it.
- Enable the local staging of Site Name for public pages.
- Add a site page variation named "navigation" (no capital letters).
- Switch language to Spanish.
- Go to Site Pages Variation menu to create a new one.
Expected Result:
"navigation" shouldn't appear translated.
Actual result:
"navigation" appears translated.
Steps to reproduce (Case 4):
- Create a new blank site 'Site Name', add a public page to it.
- Enable the local staging of Site Name for public pages.
- Add a site page variation named "navigation" (no capital letters).
- Switch language to Spanish.
- Go to Site Pages Variation menu and click Add Site Pages Variation.
Expected Result:
"navigation" in "Copy Pages from Site Pages Variation" drop down shouldn't appear translated.
Actual result:
"navigation" in "Copy Pages from Site Pages Variation" drop down appears translated.
Steps to reproduce (Case 5):
- Create a new blank site 'Site Name', add a public page to it.
- Enable the local staging of Site Name for public pages.
- Add a site page variation named "navigation" (no capital letters).
- Publish to Live selecting as "Site Pages Variation" navigation.
- Switch language to Spanish.
- Turn to Live.
Expected Result:
"navigation" shouldn't appear translated in last publication information.
Actual result:
"navigation" appears translated in last publication information.
Steps to reproduce (Case 6):
- Create a new blank site 'Site Name', add a public page to it.
- Enable the local staging of Site Name for public pages.
- Add a page variation named "content" (no capital letters).
- Switch language to Spanish.
Expected Result:
In the Page Variation drop down "content" shouldn't appear translated.
Actual result:
In the Page Variation drop down "content" appears translated.
Steps to reproduce (Case 7):
- Create a new blank site 'Site Name', add a public page to it.
- Enable the local staging of Site Name for public pages.
- Add a page variation named "content" (no capital letters).
- Switch language to Spanish.
- Go to Page Variations menu.
Expected Result:
"content" shouldn't appear translated.
Actual result:
"content" appears translated.
Steps to reproduce (Case 8):
- Create a new blank site 'Site Name', add a public page to it.
- Enable the local staging of Site Name for public pages.
- Add a page variation named "content" (no capital letters).
- Switch language to Spanish.
- Publish to Live selecting as "Page Variation" content.
- Switch language to Spanish.
- Turn to Live
Expected Result:
"content" shouldn't appear translated in last publication information.
Actual result:
"content" appears translated in last publication information.
Steps to reproduce (Case 9):
- Create a new blank site 'Site Name', add a public page to it.
- Enable the local staging of Site Name for public pages.
- Add a site page variation.
- From the site pages variation try to merge Main Variation into the new created one.
Expected Result:
The message confirmation should display Main Variation.
Actual result:
The message confirmation displays main-variation.
Steps to reproduce (Case 10):
- Create a new blank site 'Site Name', add a public page to it.
- Enable the local staging of Site Name for public pages.
- Add a site page variation named "content".
- Switch language to Spanish.
- Go to Site Pages Variation.
- Click merge on Main Variation.
Expected Result:
The name "content" shouldn't appear translated.
Actual result:
The name "content" appears translated.
Steps to reproduce (6.2.x):
- Create a new blank site 'Site Name', add a public page to it.
- Enable the local staging of Site Name.
- Go to the staging of Site Name, add site pages variation, and select Main Variation under Copy # Pages from Site Pages Variation.
- Go to the staging of Site Name, add another public page
- Navigate to the newly created page, then click Mark as Ready for Publication.
- Change site page variation to Main Variation in variation menulist.
- Click drop down button of staging.
Expected Result:
The page variation info message should be displayed as "Main Variation".
Actual result:
The page variation info message displays as "main-variation".
