DLFileEntryIndexer is being called on remote publish staging lar pieces

    Details

      Description

Remote staging produces a LAR file that is being transferred to the remote live instance as part of the publication.

When transferring the LAR file to the remote live it is done in pieces. When the remote live receives a chunk it leverages the PortletFileRepository framework to store the pieces temporarily. When adding the pieces the file entry idexer runs on the pieces, and tries to parse the text inside it.

In case of the remote publication this is unnecessary, slowing it down, and also throws errors.

      Reproduction steps:

      1. setup remote staging with 2 Liferay Instances
      2. Upload a some big files to staging server's Document Library (at least 50MByte)
      3. Try to publish to the remote live and make sure the publication includes the uploaded files

Actual: The publication is successful, however you can see Tika errors in the log
Expected: The publication is successful and you can't see any errors in the log
