Steps to Reproduce:
- Configure SMTP to view emails sent from portal
- Create user "NewUser"
- Add new site
- Add site page
- Go to Site > Publishing > Staging
- Enable local live staging with "Calendar" selected.
- Go to staged site
- Add Calendar
- Add event
- Invite "NewUser"
- Save event
- Publish to Live
NewUser receives event invite when the event is published to live.
User does not receive an event invite.
This also affects reminder notifications, they are not sent to the invited user who has accepted the invite.
Note: This issue does not occur if the event is created on the live site
