It is impossible to add a calendar booking via the pop-up dialog if calendar bookings have to provide a required category

      Description

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Go to Site Control Panel > Content > Categories > Create new Vocabulary > Choose asset type Calendar Event > Mark as Required.
      2. Create a category for the vocabulary
      3. On the home page > Click in the Scheduler to open a pop-up dialog.
      4. Click in "Save."

      Expected: The event would be created or some feedback would appear to the user.
      Actual: The event is not created and the user is not informed of what happened.

      This bug has the same root cause from LPS-72973 but cannot re-use the solution of that issue.
