This story provides a solution for Feature Request LPS-67599

To solve the issue surrounding initials, we leverage the same approach used for the user name localization, where the order of names of each language can be defined in the corresponding Language.properties file.

Two new properties will be added in the language properties:

      1. lang.user.initials.field.names=[first-name,middle-name,last-name]
This property defines the fields and order of the fields for the initials. The value of this property will be permutations of first-name, middle-name, and last-name. For example, "last-name,first-name" will generate the initials as LF if the user name is FirstName LastName. Also, initials are limited to at most two characters. Therefore, this property should be no more than two fields. If more than two fields are specified, only the first two will be used and the rest will be ignored.

      2. lang.user.default.portrait=[initials|image]
This property defines what will be used as the default user avatar. For cultures, such as China and Japan, where initials don't make sense, this property can be set to "image" so that a default image will be used for user's default profile picture instead of initials.
