Steps to Reproduce:
- Set up smtp server to view emails sent from portal
- Add a site to the Portal
- Go to newly created site
- Add page to site
- Enable local live staging for the newly created site
- Go to staged site
- Add calendar portlet
- Add event in the near feature and set a reminder
- Publish to Live
- Check event reminder email sent
Only one reminder email is sent.
User receives 2 reminder emails. 1 from the staged version of the site, and 1 from the live version of the site.
If the user waits additional time, 2 additional reminders will be sent. 4 total reminders will end up being sent, instead of 1.
This also causes issues in processing links to other sites that might be added to the notification template. A link will be generated that links to the current site (instead of the correct site).
