Translation does not take placeholder content from existing language content

Reproduction steps:
1) Start the bundle and login as [email protected]
2) Click on Add Basic Web content
3) Fill in the content in HTML box with one word, for example "English Text"
4) Click on Add Translation button and choose any language let's say "Spanish"

Actual result: The content box will be blanked out
Expected Behavior: "English Text" to appear, as Spanish language content form should take values from English
