Description

The customer has found that the recent content portlet is not updating the number of items to display correctly. It appears that it will always show five items regardless of what is set in the configuration.

Steps to reproduce

 

1. Create 15 web content articles in an existing site
2. Add the Recent Content portlet to a page on the site
3. Go to [Options] --> Configuration --> Display Settings
4. Change the Number of Items to Display to 6 and save
5. Exit out and view the results displayed in the portlet
6. Repeat steps 5-6 with different number of items

Results of Testing

Expected Results:
Portlet displays the number of items as indicated in the configuration

Actual Results:
Portlet always displays 5 items
