DLFolderIndexer / DLFileEntryIndexer aren't called at adding a document / folder at Document & Media

    • Type: Bug
    • Status: Closed
    • Resolution: Won't Fix
    • Affects Version/s: 7.1.0 Beta 1, Master
    • Fix Version/s: None
    • Component/s: DM, Search Infrastructure
    • Labels:
    • Fix Priority:
    • OS:
      CentOS 7
    • JDK:
      Oracle Sun JDK 8
    • Application Servers:
      Apache Tomcat 9.0.x
    • Browsers:
      Chrome (latest)
    • Databases:
      MySQL 5.7

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Build the latest master (liferay-portal/master)
      2. Run the built bundle as "./catalina.sh jpda start ; tail -f ../logs/catalina.out"
      3. Open the master repository with Eclipse IDE (or any IDE having debug functionality)
#. Start remort debugging to the bundle. By Eclipse, From the "Run" menu -> debug configuration -> remote Java application, create a new configuration pointing portal-master, then start debug with Debug button at the bottom.
      4. Place a breakpoint at the beginning of DLFileEntryIndexer#doGetDocument method.
      5. Go to Liferay and login as an admin user, navigate to Control panel -> content -> Documents and Media, and create "Basic Document" with a file. (Any kind of file is fine. I used a random image) or create "Folder"

      Expected behavior
If you create a document, DLFileEntryIndexer#doGetDocument is called and stop at the breakpoint. If you create a folder, DLFolderIndexer#doGetDocument is called.

      Actual behavior
When you create a document or folder, It doesn't stop at breakpoint even you set breakpoints at DLFileEntryIndexer#doGetDocument and DLFolderIndexer#doGetDocument.

      Reproduced in
      Master ea65013b7c1729d8a670ca1c6e4940fdb66020f0
