Description
We should provide users the ability to add Classnames to a Portlet in that Portlet's "Look and Feel".
This will simplify the theming of portlets, especially individual portlets and individual portlet instances. Theming these Portlets with a Classname or Classnames will be more reliable than by using the unique Portlet ID, which will differ from one machine or instance to the next.
This will easily allow different theming for the same portlets in the same page.
