Documents and Media supports document versioning. This is very handy in order to keep the previous versions and do not lose any data.
When the user updates a document he can choose whether he wants a major or minor version but, under certain circumstances, although the user selects minor version, it might not trigger any new version (because there are not relevant changes).
We need to change this to give the user more control:
- If he decides minor version it should always create a minor version.
- If he decides major version it should always create a major version.
- We might want to have an "automatic" versioning that will create the version or not based on some "intelligent" mechanism.
