Affects Version/s: 7.0.0 DXP FP50, 7.0.X
Component/s: Web Content > Web Content Administration
The behavior regarding the expiration check interval of web contents was permanently fixed in
LPS-73759 but won't be backported to 7.0.x as it involves a major API change. Right now in 7.0.x there are two different configurations for this when they should be joint into only one (as it has been done in master). The problem is that these two configs have inconsistent default values. They should have the same value to ensure a coherent behavior in an instance with the default configuration.
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to 'Control panel' --> 'System Settings'
- Go to 'Web Content' and check the value of 'Check interval'
- Go to 'Web Content Administration' and check the value of 'Check interval'
Both values seen in steps 2 and 3 represent the same amount of time (15 mins by default).
'Web Content Administration - Check interval' should be '15' in minutes and 'Web Content - Check interval' should be '900000' (15 mins in milliseconds)
Values seen in steps 2 and 3 have inconsistent values: 'Web Content - Check interval' is '86400000' (24 hours in milliseconds) and 'Web Content Administration - Check interval' is '15' (in minutes).
