Long delays when the CMIS external repository of a mount folder is not available

Steps to reproduce:

1. Setup a Nuxeo server.
2. Create a new CMIS repository in D&M, pointing it to the Nuxeo configured in #1.
3. Assert that you can enter the repository folder.
4. Shutdown the external repository server (Nuxeo, not Liferay).
5. Reload the root folder of D&M

Expected: The root folder loads in a relatively short time; no errors are displayed in the log.

Actual: There's a long delay due to a network timeout. After a while, everything continues as normal.
