Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a new site
2. Create a page tree like this one:
   Page 1 - Page 1.1 / Page 1.2
   Page 2 - Page 2.1 / Page 2.2
   Page 2.1 - Page 2.1.1 / Page 2.1.2
3. Put a Navigation portlet on Page 2.1
4. Configure it to : Start with Menu Items In - (absolute) Level - 2
5. Check the preview

Expected: Preview showing Page 2.1.1 and Page 2.1.2

Actual: There are no menu items to display.
