      Description

      Current State

      • Workflow permits the ability to set up rules and approvals for assets and user account creation in Liferay 7.0 and 7.1.

      Requested Functionality
      Permit the ability for workflow to be integrated into Site Administration / Page Administration.

      Use Case / Why this is useful
      Users with a specific role has the permissions to administer a site, but a supervisor wants to be able to sign off on any major changes to anything that happens on the site level.

      • Example 1: A user deletes a page.
      • Example 2: Permissions changes on widgets on a page.
      • Example 3: Modification of user memberships to a site.

      In these cases, it would be beneficial for DXP administrators to have more checks and balances for their site administrators from a business use case perspective.
