      Description

When the remote server is down or not accessible, the staging site will respond really slowly.

In some cases this would happen fast (e.g. when you are on the same network with a server), however in some cases you would need to wait for the SocketTimeout to happen. An easy example to test with localhost:

      1. Edit the hosts file on your computer and add the remoteserver name to 127.0.0.1
      2. Create a new site
      3. Configure remote staging with the "remoteserver" host and the new site
      4. Edit your hosts file and have the remoteserver on another network e.g. 192.168.0.8
      5. Try to navigate as a logged in user

This emulates a real world scenario where there's a ip DROP between the local and remote sites (instead of REJECT) and this might happen with firewalls quite often.
