    Details

    • Application Servers:
      Apache Tomcat 9.0.x

      Description

      Hi Team,

I keep finding that the basic liferay-dxp-7.1.10-ga1 bundle hits a 404 error after attempting to update Marketplace. I've found some JIRA tickets on this exp: https://issues.liferay.com/browse/LRIS-21773 but so far not found a ticket that causes the 404 error. I ran 2 tests as follows:

      Marketplace Update - TEST 1 of 2

      1. Sign in to liferay-dxp-7.1.10-ga1 (basic bundle)
      2. Control Panel > Apps > Purchased > Press Sign In button > Press Grant Access button
      3. Message appears

      Marketplace Update Available
This is a required update to enable new features.

Click the update button to automatically update the Marketplace plugin to the latest version.

      4. Press Update button
      5. Warning Appears

The portal will be restarted after update.
      Do you want to proceed?

      6. Press OK
      7. After several seconds the Update button reappears

      log info:

Observation: No new information is presented to the user. We only have the Update and Sign Out button - no mention in the GUI about restarting Liferay (only in the log).
