Message board thread kebab ellipsis menu opens on the wrong side the first time

Reproduced on:
Tomcat 9.0.17 + MySQL 5.7. Portal master GIT ID: d2466d759418e38ee74b61ee6d2f9f94f83ffda6.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Navigate to Content & Data > Message Boards
2. Add a thread and publish it
3. Click on the ellipsis

Expected result:
Drop down menu opens on the correct side and the options are fully readable.

Actual result:
Drop down menu opens on the wrong side and is cut off the very first time the user clicks the ellipsis (after every page refresh). Subsequent times the menu will open on the correct side.
