As site admin it would be nice to configure the redirect code for each "link to page" page

      Description

Currently when a Link to Layout page is requested you are redirected to the Layout with a 302 HTTP status code (Redirect - Moved Temporarily).

It would be nice to define the HTTP status code for this redirection because it can, sometimes, be better to return a 301 - Moved Permanently. For example when you are trying to define a mapping between and old page/URL and a substitute. If the redirect is via a 301 the SEO positioning of the old page can be preserved.

Now IT administrators must define the redirect in the web server.

      Historical notes:

Response code was changed from 302 to 301 in LPS-35799, but it was later removed in LPS-38106 due some side problems (301 redirects are cached). These side effects can be overcome having the option to select the redirection code.
